To ensure
our guests leave us relaxed and satisfied, having benefited
fully from their stay at Pencob House, we have made every
effort to provide luxurious accommodation. Gracious stylish
comfort, beauty and warm friendly hospitality await you at
Pencob House. Our bedrooms are tastefully decorated with good
quality beds and furnishings.
The rooms each have their own individual character.
We have steered away from the current formula where the décor
in each room is predictable and, may we say, somewhat impersonal.
Instead, Pencob House offers charming, comfortable airy rooms
with some character - as one would expect, and hope for, in
a country house. Being in a rural setting the bedrooms are
private, and overlook only countryside, woodland, and garden.
Our guests are important to us, therefore we
pay meticulous attention to detail and the particular needs
of our guests, and ensure that our friendly ambience makes
you feel wonderfully at home...away from home! |

At
Pencob House you won't be confined to your bedroom. The cosy
Sitting Room is an ideal alternative for a quiet read whilst
sipping a complimentary glass of sherry, or listening to a
play or concert on the radio.
There is a wide selection of books, magazines
and maps and information of surrounding areas of interest.
The room is decorated in an African theme which
reflects the many years spent by the hosts in Zimbabwe and
South Africa. It has a comfortable settee and two armchairs,
with soft lighting provided by brass table lamps.
For the convenience of guests there is a refrigerator
to provide fresh milk for tea and coffee, instead of little
cartons of long-life milk!
Many guests find the refrigerator useful for
storing their fruit, cool drinks, beer or wine etc. Wine glasses
and beer glasses are provided, as is an iron and ironing board. |

The
Sandringham Room |

We are only a couple
of miles from Sandringham, hence the name. The room has two
windows affording different aspects. The rear window looks
over the meadow at the back with its horses and wild flowers,
whilst the side window overlooks part of the garden and the
woodland.
Leaving the windows open at night not only lets
is the fresh Norfolk air, but also the occasional hooting
of the tawny owls. This is a smart double room with a comfortable
good quality double bed, to ensure a good nights' rest.
The room has quality furnishings and is decorated
in a coordinated style which is both relaxing and tasteful.
There are two easy chairs in the room. It is fully equipped
with tea/coffee making facilities, biscuits, hair dryer, clock
radio, fan, and colour television - and also lots of little
thoughtful extras you may need.
The convenient en-suite bathroom has a bath
and shower, wash-hand basin, w.c., and power point for shaver.
Soft fluffy good quality towels and toiletries are all provided. |

The
Jubilee Room |

So named, because
we opened for business in 2002 during the week of the Queens'
Golden Jubilee. This room has twin beds, once again of top
quality.
This airy room also has two windows, the front
one overlooking the garden whilst the side one looks into
the woodland. As this room may sometimes be used by friends
or business colleagues the décor is appropriately different
to the Sandringham Room.
It has two easy chairs and is fully equipped
with tea/coffee making facilities, hair dryer, clock radio,
fan, and colour television.
There is a wash-hand basin unit in the room
and has its own private bathroom which is just across the
corridor. This has an electric shower cubicle, w.c. and wash-hand
basin. Soft fluffy good quality towels and toiletries are
all provided. |
